What are your thoughts on these Wightbay homepage designs?

Hi guys,

We've tweaked the design of the Wightbay layout and come up with 4 new versions.

We'd love to know your thoughts on these. Comment on this post and let us know!

dont particularly like any of the mock-ups, they need to have vertical, not horizontal menu selections from the main headers. As most people visiting the site want to know what is for sale then latest adds should be the home page with a link from menu to the catergories page, and a search that works would also be a very useful tool sadly missing as the new search is pathetic.

As most people visiting the site want to know what is for sale then... ---- And how do you know that?

new search is pathetic. ---- You've got it wrong, you're 'pathetic'!!!

Well done Wightbay, just love it, as everyone else does - I'm their spokesperson, ha ha.

Yeah, quite agree, great site now.

Its very hard to see them in the mock up, especially for folk with bad eye site. Personally I loved the vertical latest ads as I could peruse all the latest ads and pick up the latest bargains. The new one is ok if you are looking for something specific but it was great just to browse the latest ads and maybe find something you have been looking for for ages, without having to trawl through all the listings. Needs tweaking!!

Hey Wightbay, great Site but just being spoilt by 'idiots' multiple listing. Take a look at: Gardining and Patio Furniture(other). Richs Garden Services - 22 consecutive listings, yes that's right !!! Think it must be putting a lot off from using the Site. So, how about doing something about it? over to you.

I think you should add a messege sign to show if you got any messeges or questions
